Hi, I’m Laura Middleton, founder of The Ordersmith, a home organising and decluttering service based in East Surrey.

Organisation has always been something I’ve naturally gravitated towards, but it was during my 10+ years as a primary school teacher that I truly saw the impact it can have. Creating calm, structured environments helped both myself and the children I taught to feel more focused, less overwhelmed, and able to thrive.

Now, alongside teaching part-time, I’m also a mum to a young daughter,  so I understand first-hand how busy family life can become, and how quickly clutter builds up when life gets full!

​

I began applying the same principles in my own home, simplifying and organising each space to create more calm, less stress, and more time to focus on what matters most. The difference it made was huge.

The Ordersmith was created to help others achieve that same feeling in their own homes.
